Meet Our Team
We are a passionate and dedicated team (80+ staff) of Consultant Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers and Administrative staff – all united in our goal in improving healthcare outcomes in South West Sydney via the delivery of high quality diagnostic medical imaging services.
Our clinical staff are kept up to date with the latest imaging techniques to ensure the highest quality results on the latest equipment. Our administrative teams are very caring and understanding of your needs – always willing to go that extra mile for our patients.
Our imaging partners are Philips Healthcare, Canon Medical, Fujifilm, Siemens, Toshiba, Regional Health, Bayer, Imaxeon, CamHealth and Quantum Healthcare.
We have been providing high quality diagnostic radiology services that is affordable and accessible to patients across Sydney’s South West Region for the past 19+ years.

Dr Minh Truong graduated with an MBBS from the University of New South Wales in 2001. She completed her radiology training at Western Hospital in Melbourne followed by Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2011.
Dr Truong joined South West Radiology in 2012.
She is also the Director of Training at Campbelltown Hospital. She has an honorary academic conjoint lecturer appointment with Western Sydney University.
Dr Truong is interested in all aspects of general radiology with special interests in women’s imaging, musculoskeletal imaging and neuroradiology.

Dr Philip Segal graduated with an MBBS from the University of Sydney in 1986. He completed his radiology training at Liverpool Hospital and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2000.
Dr Segal has over 20 years experience in public and private radiology.
Dr Segal is a staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital and has worked at South West Radiology since 2002.
Dr Segal has pursued subspecialty interests in CT Angiography, Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging.
Dr. Nazanin Zarerad

Dr Nazanin Zarerad graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 2007. She completed her training at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2018.
She is currently a Staff Specialist working part time at Campbelltown Hospital.
She joined South West Radiology in 2018 and completed her Fellowship in Paediatric Imaging at Westmead Hospital in 2019.

Dr Siroos Nasibi gradated with a Doctor of Medicine in 2000. He completed his training at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2015.
He is currently a Consultant Radiologist at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals.
He joined South West Radiology in 2017 and is interested in all aspects of general radiology with special interests in Interventional Radiology.

Dr Chan is currently a Senior Consultant Interventional Radiologist in Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital and Gosford Hospital. She is also a Breast Radiologist for the NSW Breast Cancer Institute.
Dr Chan has dual post graduate Fellowships in Interventional Radiology & Breast Imaging. She has over 15 years’ experience in these sub-specialisations.
Dr Chan has special interest in Interventional Oncology and Interventional
Radiology treatment for Women and Breast Imaging. She is passionate in liver cancer treatment and female interventional procedures including Uterine Artery Embolization for fibroids and adenomyosis and treatment of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome.
Dr Chan is a clinical lecturer for Sydney University, University of New South Wales and an appointed IMG assessor for The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of
Radiologists.
Dr. Mohammed Hamdan

Dr Mohammed Hamdan completed his Doctor of Medicine in 2009. He underwent his radiology training at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals and is a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
He subsequently completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (University of Toronto) in Canada.
Dr Hamdan is currently a staff specialist at Liverpool Hospital and is involved in regular registrar teaching as well as MDT meetings. His interests include the multimodality imaging of abdominal and pelvic pathology, as well as Oncology imaging.

Dr Dina Bestawros graduated with a MBBS from Western Sydney University. She completed her radiology training at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals and is a Fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
Dr Bestawros has completed dual post graduate fellowships in cardiac and abdominal imaging at Concord Hospital. She has qualifications in both CT coronary angiogram and cardiac MRI.
Dr Bestawros is actively involved in the research fields of cardiac MRI, hepatobiliary radiology and colorectal radiology. She is a conjoint associate lecturer at Western Sydney University.
Dr Bestawros is interested in abdominal imaging (including liver, pancreas, colorectal, and enterographic imaging), genitourinary and gynaecological imaging as well as cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.

Dr Betsy Dang graduated with an MBBS from Western Sydney University in 2013. She completed her radiology training based at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2021.
Dr Dang joined South West Radiology in 2022. She is interested in all aspects of general radiology with special interests in emergency radiology.
